We are delighted to offer for sale a fabulous Vintage Blues Parlour Acoustic Guitar dating to around the late 1940s through to the mid 1950s.
This gorgeous example is in excellent ‘Vintage’ preloved playable condition. It has lots of light surface dinks, usage wear and small scuffs on the body! The body has a sprouse or pitch pine front, inlaided with a veneered banded decoration around the rim and sound hole.
It is a loft find and comes in complete untouched and unrestored vintage condition! It has its original set of machine heads, Bridge, Pick Guard and an orginal set of Wooden Bridge Pegs and loads vintage charm and relic appeal! The neck does have a slight bow to it making for quite a high action toward the lower frets! This guitar is in excellent vintage condition but will most likely need some TLC/Light Restoration and adjustment and should be viewed with this in mind!
It has a lovely vintage twangy blues sound. The body has acheived a gorgeous deep golden Honey coloured patina achieved over many years. The back and sides have cherry coloured Sunburst finish. It is unbranded but I have had very similar examples in my collection that have ‘Made in Germany’ Labels on the headstocks? Overall a gorgeous example in very playable condition.
It currently comes with a fully set of nylon strings but these look very old and it could probably do with fresh set!
It measures 37 inches from head stock to tail.
19 Fret neck
Original Rosewood Bridge
Rosewood Fret board with white inset dots
Deep Cherry Red Sunburst Bakc and Sides
Golden Honey Pitch Pine Front with inlaided decoration
Currently Fitted with a set of nylon strings

Overall a perfect vintage example for very light restoration! It would make a fabulous addition to a vintage guitar collection.
